The School Day

Our School Day

The school gates open at around 8.30am. Children make their way to their designated playground. Between 8.45am and 8.55am children may enter the school building and prepare for the school day. The school day begins at 8.55am. At 9am the school gates are closed and any children arriving late - must enter through the security gate - they will receive a 'late mark'. 

Morning Sessions:     

Nursery                                           8.55 am    -     11.50 am

Reception                                       8.55 am    -     12.00 noon

Key Stage 1 (Infants)                       8.55 am    -     12.00 noon

Key Stage 2 (Juniors)                      8.55 am    -     12.15 pm

Afternoon Sessions:

Nursery                                         1.00 pm     -    3.15 pm

Reception                                     1.00 pm     -    3.20 pm

Key Stage 1 (Infants)                     1.00 pm     -    3.20 pm

Key Stage 2 (Juniors)                    1.15 pm     -    3.30 pm

Please note we place a high priority on attendance and punctuality. The parents of any child whose attendance is causing concern will receive a home visit from Mrs Duddy our Educational Welfare Officer. She will also monitor children who are persistently late for school and will arrange to discuss this with parents. Further information is available on our Attendance and Punctuality web page.
